The four cards
Balance is the money you have right now across your active accounts, not the result of the month. Income and Expenses are the totals for the month you are viewing. Net savings is income minus expenses for that same month.
The small percentage under each card compares it with the previous month, so you can see the direction at a glance.

Changing the month
Use the month picker at the top right to move between months. Everything on the page follows it, except the balance, which is always today’s balance.
